Gods of the Plague is a solo post-metal, doom and atmospheric heavy music project based in Jamestown, New York.

“Man has scarred the Earth, poisoned the waters, choked the sky and burned the forests. We look to the stars for answers, but no one listens. Like Gods to our own destruction, we are the Creator.”

About Gods of the Plague

Gods of the Plague is an artistic concept and long-form music project rooted in the belief that humanity exists as both a destructive force and the architect of its own destiny.

The project explores the tension between creation and ruin — the idea that while humans act as a plague upon the earth, they also carry the capacity to choose transformation over annihilation.

Through slow-burn compositions and heavy atmosphere, the music illustrates the spiritual conflict inherent in this duality: the internal wars we are condemned to fight endlessly, and the quiet resolve required to choose creation in the face of collapse.

Drawing influence from stoner metal, doom metal, and post-metal, the project focuses on atmosphere, weight, texture, and intentional songwriting. Built through layered guitar and bass compositions and meticulous production, Gods of the Plague explores heaviness as an emotional and physical experience rather than a purely aggressive one.
